Launched in late 1999 by a group of independent Chartered Accountancy practices, NIFA was formed to pool the vast knowledge, expertise and resources from local firms to create a UK network providing legal practices and insurers with an unrivalled, cost effective forensic accountancy service.

NIFA accredited members, all of whom are also members of the Academy of Experts or the Expert Witness Institute as experts in accountancy and its related disciplines, possess many years of experience in the preparation of expert reports in legal cases and providing expert evidence at Court as well as providing accountancy based services to solicitors, barristers, insurance companies, businesses and individuals
